Tracking Hurricane Ian: See latest forecast, spaghetti models, information

As of 5 p.m. Tuesday, Ian is a category 3, major hurricane, with sustained winds of 120 mph. Ian now has its sights set on landfall again, but this time, in southwest Florida near Fort Meyers.

The National Hurricane Center says that Ian is undergoing an eyewall replacement, which means Ian is trying to get its act together to strengthen again. Ian is still forecast to become a category 4 hurricane.

A number of Hurricane Watches and Warnings, as well as Tropical Storm Watches and Warnings are in effect for the United States. The alerts are along the Gulf of Mexico coast and the Atlantic coast.
